She has a relaxed, slouchy silhouette with a wide, fixed strap. A top zipper keeps everything secure, and an interior zip pocket holds smaller items.

All pieces are hand cut and sewn in small batches in San Francisco. Each bag is carefully constructed with love and care

Trudy Workshop items are handmade to order. This means that not all purchased items will be ready to ship immediately after order. Normal turnaround time is 2-3 weeks from purchase to shipment. 

Fabric Inspiration

Mrytle is a short alleyway-like street in the heart of the Tenderloin. Punctuated by the bustling energies of Franklin, Van Ness, Polk & Larkin. 

Amongst the hectic streets in the neighborhood she lies- if you aren’t looking -  you just might miss her sweetness & power.  

The myrtle flower blooms in a wide array of colors & is a symbol of love, beauty, & strength. Venus is described as emerging from the sea on her half shell holding a sprig of myrtle. 

Mrytle’s hues of deep red and soft berry blue, feel sweet & sultry together. This velvet fabric is quietly striking & enduringly beautiful.
