Fabric Inspiration
Alamo Square is the quintessential hilltop park of San Francisco, centrally located and bordered by Hayes, Steiner, Fulton, and Scott Streets
Alamo Square was named from the Spanish word meaning poplar tree. This park was once a lone cottonwood tree upon a hill, marking a watering hole along the horseback trail from Mission Dolores to the Presidio. Through the years, Alamo Square has witnessed the growth of the city around her, now bordered by the beloved painted ladies and abundant with Monterey Cypress’, she is one of the most elegant and picturesque parks in the city to venture through - to catch a view on your way from here to there.
Alamo’s brown checkered pattern, velvety to the touch, has a western, sophisticated, and an elegant touch giving homage to the nostalgia of San Francisco’s wild west roots.
